Released: 7th February 2019
Keywords: Middlegrade, Fantasy, Magic, Witches, Timetravel, Loss of parent, Suicide, Betrayal, Sisters

Three sisters trapped by an ancient curse.
Three magical objects with the power to change their fate.
Will they be enough to break the curse?
Or will they lead the sisters even deeper into danger?

Middlegrade isn’t something I read often but I had a real need to read some so decided to pick this one up after hearing great things about it, and with it being about 3 sisters, I am one of 3 sisters which made it abit more fun.

I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my time reading this book and at times I forgot I was even reading a middlegrade book. All of the characters are so brilliant, especially the 3 sisters all with very different personality traits.

They find out about a curse that kills any girl in their family line that leaves their town, so along with some mysterious magical objects helping them to stay hidden, see people far away and even travel through time, the sisters deicde to try and track down the source of the curse and find a way to end it for good.

It does get quite dark at times but it was a very fun journey with lot’s of humour and thrilling moments. I will definitely be continuing with this series.

My rating: 4/5 stars
